ALG Software, a global provider of corporate performance management solutions, today announced significant additions to its sales team and has expanded its regional representation in North America with the addition of three industry sales veterans.
Ajit Rao joins ALG Software as Director of New England Operations, Rick Kovatch has been named Director of Mid-Atlantic Operations, and Rodger Chartrand has been named Director of West Operations.

Ajit Rao has been in the corporate performance management industry for five years through his employment with Crystal Decisions and Business Objects where, as Area Sales Director, he was responsible for driving substantial growth in the North East Region. Prior to Business Objects, he served in senior executive sales positions for Oracle Corporation and Concentra Corporation with responsibilities for Fortune 100 accounts, vertical markets, and Pacific Rim and US activities. Rao is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India.
Rick Kovatch brings a wealth of industry experience and corporate leadership to ALG. Kovatch was the founder and principal at Salesvantx.com, a software company and consulting firm engaged in providing individual productivity enhancement tools for sales professionals. For the past three years, he has focused on corporate performance management sales with Centra Software and Longview Solutions. Kovatch also provides solid supply chain and ERP systems experience from his stints with Manugistics and Dun & Bradstreet. Kovatch is a graduate of the University of Kansas.
Rodger Chartrand is a software sales veteran with extensive experience in the Business Intelligence application market. Prior to joining ALG, Chartrand served as a Senior Account Manager for Sterling Software and Regional Vice President for Computer Associates. His most recent background includes sales executive roles with Actuate Corporation and Information Builders. Chartrand is a graduate of DeVry University in Columbus, Ohio.
ALG's New England Regional Office is located in Boston, Massachusetts, and serves parts of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey, upstate New York, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, and the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Ontario, Canada. Located in Columbus, Ohio, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Office serves Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, DC. The West office is located in Los Angeles, California, and serves Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming in the U.S. and Alberta and British Columbia provinces in Canada.
