Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end financial technology solutions, announced Jennifer Werner has joined the company as its new chief marketing officer.
As CMO, Werner brings more than two decades of expertise in marketing strategy and corporate branding, with extensive leadership experience in the financial services industry. In her new role at CSI, Werner will drive large-scale, integrated marketing initiatives that deliver the company message to current and prospective partners and customers. Specifically, she will provide leadership for CSI’s marketing and branding initiatives that are focused on acquiring new business, driving cross-sales, promoting thought leadership and developing competitive intelligence.
“At CSI, our priority is always acquiring highly skilled, talented leaders who perfectly align with our dedication to providing the industry’s most innovative solutions and highest levels of service,” said Steve Powless, chairman and CEO of CSI. “We are elated to have a leader of Jennifer’s caliber join the CSI family, and we look forward to leveraging her stellar fintech experience to take our integrated marketing initiatives and corporate communications programs to new heights.”
Before joining CSI, Werner served as vice president of marketing for Franklin American Mortgage, a role in which she led digital strategy, brand awareness and demand generation. Her past experience also includes serving as CMO for EFT Source, a provider of turn-key credit and debit products, which was later acquired by CPI Card Group in 2014. Werner also played an integral part in marketing initiatives at companies like Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Affinion Group and First American National Bank.
“With the fintech industry changing so quickly and becoming incredibly user-centric, technology providers must maintain a deep understanding of their customers, both existing and prospective, and how to communicate effectively with all audiences,” Werner said. “CSI understands the value of the customer experience, which is why I am thrilled to join the team and help guide ongoing innovations through new marketing and branding initiatives that will ensure continued success moving forward.”
Werner earned a bachelor’s degree in organization communication with a minor in marketing from Lipscomb University.
