The appointment follows the unexpected death of former Managing Director Philip Mantle.
Paul Fisher has led extensive growth and change management programmes in the past, with 20 years experience in the IT industry but his remit for Wincor Nixdorf is very much one of "business as usual".
Speaking of his vision for the future Paul comments: "The recent successes in Banking outsourcing plus the company's newly released product and process innovations in both Retail and Banking markets, provides an outstanding opportunity for the UK team to realise the aspirations initiated by Philip Mantle and the Wincor Nixdorf board, in making customer's businesses more profitable through cost-effective, end-to-end solutions. I am confident the UK team will succeed in achieving these goals."
