Dion Global Solutions (Dion | BSE: 526927) today announced the promotion of Kean Williams to Chief Operating Officer.
The role makes him responsible for global operations across Professional Services, Customer Support, Software Development, Product Management & Innovation and Strategy.
Michel Borst, CEO, Dion Global Solutions said “the appointment was due reward for the way that Kean has steered two of the largest business units within the company as Managing Director of Wealth & International Post Trade solutions. Dion has restructured a number of business activities during this year and under Kean’s leadership the Wealth and Post Trade combined businesses are seeing excellent growth both in revenues and margins”. Michel went on to say, “It is important that we ensure that the rest of the businesses benefits from Kean’s experience and I have asked him to manage all of our day to day operations and spearhead our Solution Strategy to create a truly global solution suite for financial institutions.”
Kean is based in the United Kingdom and has over 30 years of experience in Financial services, starting at the London Stock Exchange, and Financial services IT which includes 18 years in Dion and their acquired businesses. Kean brings a wealth of relevant domain experience to the role and has already overseen the significant growth in both the Wealth and Post Trade businesses. He is tasked with ensuring that these and other Dion solutions are available for customers in all target markets for Dion.
Dion has already consolidated the existing solution businesses into three core focus areas providing integrated solutions for Brokers and Wealth Managers and is complemented by Compliance and Risk solutions for all financial institutions. Michel commented “There is a clear business and solution direction designed and focused on the needs of our customers. I am confident that promoting from within the organisation was the right decision to help drive this strategy.”
