A noted global expert in risk management, compliance and operational efficiency, Ms. Garcia will direct activities focusing on Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance in financial services. Her key responsibility is to analyse the trends and challenges facing clients and prospects and ensure the effectiveness of CBS solutions in addressing operational risk and regulatory compliance in transactional and client facing applications.

For the past six years, Garcia served in various roles at TowerGroup, including enterprise risk management and compliance, and most recently as Research Director of the Financial Services Strategies practice, with responsibility for operational resilience, outsourcing, and analytics. In this role Virginia worked extensively with bank clients and IT vendors to develop strategies to address important topics such as BSA compliance, Basel II, Sarbanes Oxley and IAS. A sought-after international conference speaker, Virginia's research on Risk Management and Compliance has been published extensively.

She is frequently quoted in industry periodicals and has been published in global publications including the Financial Times, The New York Times, The Banker, Bank Technology News, CIO Magazine and American Banker.
