The Equicom Group Inc. (Equicom), Canada's premier provider of investor relations and financial communications services, today announced the official opening of its Western Canadian Office in Calgary and the appointment of David Feick as Managing Director to lead these efforts.
"Equicom has a diversified and geographically dispersed client base including many issuers who reside in Western Canada," said Barry Hildred, President of Equicom. "With a base of operations in Calgary we will be better able to serve clients locally while providing our issuers in other geographies with expanded reach into British Columbia and Alberta."
As part of his mandate as Managing Director of Western Canada, Mr. Feick will be responsible for account management and business development in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. Mr. Feick has more than 8 years of experience providing counsel to many of North America's largest companies on how to solve strategic communications issues. Prior to joining the Equicom Group David held various business development roles in the BCE group of companies and the newswire industry. A native Calgarian, David will be leveraging his experience and his relationships in Western Canada to the exclusive benefit of Equicom clients. Mr. Feick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Acadia University.
