Luc Rondot appointed CIO at BNP Paribas French retail banking unit

Luc Rondot has been appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) and a member of the Executive Committee at the BNP Paribas Group’s French Retail Banking division, with effect from 3 September 2018.

Luc Rondot’s main mission will be to continue the transformation of the IT systems at the French Retail Banking, with a particular focus on further streamlining all the customer journeys so as to make it easier for clients to carry out their projects.
Commenting on this new appointment, Pierre Ruhlmann, Chief Operating Officer at BNP Paribas French Retail Banking, stated: “We’re delighted to welcome Luc Rondot on board. With his wide experience, he will enable us to drive ahead with our digital transformation and attain the ambitious targets set out in our 2020 Plan, by building on our achievements in this field to-date.”

Luc Rondot: Curriculum Vitae

Luc Rondot (57), a graduate of the Control Data Institute, spent most of his professional career at the BPCE Group. After working as Project Leader in charge of the ‘Development of Branch Applications’ within an entity of Banque Populaire, he was appointed Deputy General Manager of the National Informatics Centre of the Caisses d’Epargne, and then Information Systems Manager at Crédit Foncier.

From 2016 onwards, within the BPCE Group, Luc Rondot served as Executive Director of Operations at Crédit Foncier, a role in which he headed up a number of digital transformation projects.
