The Swedish FinTech company Plexian builds mobile wallets and digital loyalty programs. They are now strengthening their management team by recruiting a dynamic duo with a professional history from the international Swedish bank IKANO Bank.
Plexian, a company with global aspirations, will get a new management team consisting of the new CEO Staffan Mattson and CTO Per-Anders Eriksson. The founder of Plexian and former CEO Sami Sulieman will become CCO and a member of the board.
Tailor-made communication is a hot topic among many companies. Generic newsletters do not give the desired effect anymore as they are not considered relevant for the recipient. Instead there is a growing focus on targeted communication. The Sweden based company Plexian wants to take loyalty a step further by using an outside-in mindset that aims at turning consumers into fans.
- I know from experience that there is a great demand for the kind of services that Plexian offers. The traditional model where loyalty is associated with transactions is changing and instead focus is put on building genuine and honest relations. The solution is not to offer a loyalty program. The future is to be a loyalty company. Plexian works with modern technology and a mindset that will make it possible to introduce solutions, which are creating real value for both partners and users, says Staffan Mattson, new CEO at Plexian.
Staffan Mattson comes from a role as management consultant and has before that been working as CEO at IKANO Bank in Russia. There he built the bank from the ground up and within two years they had more than 150,000 customers with 12 offices in 9 Russian cities. Before Staffan moved to Moscow he was CFO at the holding company for IKANO Bank and at the same time responsible for business development and sales & marketing.
Per-Anders Eriksson is the new CTO at Plexian. He has earlier been the Head of Application Development at IKANO Bank with responsibility for around 140 employees.
- Plexian has a very interesting strategy. With my experience in loyalty and payments paired with modern technology, all conditions are there to create the loyalty company of the future. To be a part of the business development and thereby creating a better service for the customers feels incredibly stimulating and fulfilling, says Per-Anders Eriksson, new CTO at Plexian.
