Lawrence Wintermeyer, the former CEO of Innovate Finance, has been appointed to lead Huddlestock’s global advisory board.
Wintermeyer brings a wealth of experience and a vast global network to the London-based Fintech. The appointment follows Huddlestock’s signing of its first major B2B agreement with an investment house in Asia.
The agreement allows the partner to completely digitise their investment advisor and brokerage business. Huddlestock, based in London, and a member of Level39 has focused on delivering its platform directly to clients in Europe since its launch in Q1 2017. As the company grows it European client base it will also focus on offering the B2B platform to partners worldwide.
“Huddlestock is unique as it gives clients access to hedge fund investment strategies through its platform. There are no other FinTech solutions that bring together intermediaries, investment advisors and investment managers, on a single digital platform to deliver clients access to a global investment playbook that is normally only availableto professionals. Huddlestock is a game-changer.” says Lawrence Wintermeyer.
The new deal is a significant milestone for Huddlestock, giving access to investments to over 100 000 clients and more than 65 000 active traders in the Asia region. For the first time, this investment house can communicate to clients, execute investment strategies, and take on new investors rapidly on a state of the art digital platform.
“We are very pleased to be working with Lawrence. He has an extensive investment background and a valuable global network. With our first B2B agreement in place, we are positioning for rapid growth and are now in discussions seeking to scale the business in the UAE, Pakistan and India“, says the CEO of Huddlestock, Murshid Ali.
