Leading Traydstream’s digital strategy, Ray Sherry has been announced as new CTO (Chief Technology Officer). Matteo Bocchi Bianchi has been named as the new CKO (Chief Knowledge Officer) and Head of New Partnerships. Also joining the team is Sante Zampini as Head of Agent Relations.

Sherry brings over 32 years’ technology experience, working across Financial, Automotive and Consultancy industries. He has held senior technology leadership positions in Banks, including Barclays, and also specialises in early stage business development, strategy and growth. Sherry joins at an exciting time for Traydstream with multiple pilots scheduled over the summer months, with some of the biggest names in the banking and corporate world. Sherry will navigate the company through these crucial mandates, overseeing the IT architecture and digital solutions for operations across three continents.

Bocchi Bianchi is a financial engineer with over 12 years’ experience within corporate banking and strategy consultancy in emerging technologies. He has worked within the trade space for a major US bank and specialises in business development, implementation and transaction protocol. As CKO, Bocchi Bianchi will lead Traydstream’s digital innovation going forward, with particular focus on RegTech (Regulation Technology) as banks face massive burdens of cost in the modern economic climate, with cumulative penalties of “about $321bn assessed since the 2007-2008 financial crisis through to end of 2016.”

Bocchi Bianchi states that: “In this climate, Traydstream’s artificially intelligent platform is poised to be a pivotal player in huge cost reductions. By digitalising Trade Finance documentation, extracting the data intelligently and validating the transaction data against a library of Trade Rules and Compliance checks, Traydstream aim to reduce banks’ compliance overheads by up to 60%.”

Bocchi Bianchi will also lead the company through the next phase of partnerships into exciting new areas such as big data, logistics, mobile, AI and Blockchain as Head of New Partnerships.

Sante Zampini, Head of Agent Relations, will bring 30+ years of international experience in Corporate Banking at American financial institutions in the USA and Italy. Having focused primarily on relationship management and sales, involving big-ticket business development and deal origination, Zampini will oversee the roll-out of a network of high-level agents operating across the globe, originating deals with banks and large corporations.

On the new appointments, Traydstream’s Technology Board advisor Gary Bhattacharjee stated: “We are delighted with the new hires and I am looking forward to working closely with Ray to shape our technology offering in this new digital and innovative space”.
