Yoyo hires PayPal GM Simon Moran

Yoyo, the mobile payment and customer engagement company, have hired PayPal General Manager Simon Moran as the fast-growing start-ups first VP of Commercial.

Moran will be responsible for driving Yoyo’s commercial ambitions forward, growing Yoyo’s presence on the UK high street, as well as continuing the company’s rapid growth in the Business & Industry and Education sectors.

He said of the move:

Moran has been active in the payments and Fintech space since 2000, having previously worked at Visa and American Express, before joining PayPal in 2008, where he was a key member of the UK Senior Leadership Team.
