In her new role, she has responsibility for developing SIA’s presence in the European market. The sales structures of the group companies located abroad will all report to Astore, in order to optimize oversight and cross-selling of the services of SIA Group.

This appointment is consistent with the objectives of the SIA 2017-2019 Business Plan, which aims to consolidate the company’s competitive positioning at international level, and with the corporate organizational model which is strongly market-oriented.

Cristina Astore (50) was previously responsible for SIA North West Europe - part of the International Division - with the objective of developing the business in the north-western Europe area. She joined SIA in 2000 as Sales Director and in 2004 became Director of the Payment Systems Division. In 2006, Astore also took on the role of CEO of RA Computer, the subsidiary specializing in the creation of applicative solutions and the supply of services to the financial market, businesses and the public sector. She began her professional career at Hewlett-Packard as Sales Manager in the Finance area, dealing with leading Italian institutions and also focusing on innovative technology projects of international scale.
