SEI Investments appoints Francis Ellison head of UK institutional sales

SEI Investments (Europe) Ltd. (SEI Europe), the global arm of SEI, a leading provider of asset management services and investment technology solutions, announced today that it has appointed Francis Ellison as Head of UK Institutional Sales.

Francis, who will report to Patrick Disney, Head of SEI's Global Institutional Business, will be responsible for leading SEI Europe's UK Sales Team and developing SEI Europe's institutional business in the UK.

Francis joins SEI Europe from Jupiter Asset Management where he was Head of European Institutional Business Development and Client Servicing. Prior to joining Jupiter in 2000, Francis spent eight years as Managing Director of Bank of Ireland Asset Management where he was responsible for UK institutional business development and client service.

Commenting on the appointment, Patrick Disney, Head of SEI's Global Institutional Business said: "We are very pleased to welcome Francis to the UK institutional team based in London. Since launching in the UK in 2000, SEI has had substantial success in building an institutional business in the UK and we are confident that Francis's considerable experience of the UK market will be a valuable asset in expanding this business. Manager-of-Managers is continuing to gain momentum in the UK and is proving to be an attractive proposition for pension funds, this appointment further endorses SEI’s position in the UK market."
