CloudMargin, a FinTech start-up specialising in a cloud-based collateral and margin management platform, today announced it is continuing to grow its senior management team.

Industry expert Lee McCormack has been appointed Head of Product Strategy at the firms London Headquarters, whilst Lisbeth Hadingham, who will be based in New York, has been appointed Sales VP, North America.

Lee McCormack said of his appointment: “CloudMargin are a company I’ve been actively following for a while, so I’m really excited to join the team at a time of rapid client and product expansion. I joined because I was looking for a solution that addressed the main friction points that I know are hurting the firms I have worked with in the past; Providing an easy-to-implement cloud-based collateral management solution is exactly what is needed as new regulations drive more users towards daily margin calls.

Mr McCormack joins CloudMargin with over 15 years experience within the financial services industry having worked for Nomura, Morgan Stanley and UBS. A frequent speaker at major industry conferences, Mr McCormack brings with him a wealth of trading, clearing and settlement knowledge, gained from business development, product development, leadership and strategic advisory positions.

Ms Hadingham, who will run the New York based office, commented: “I am very excited to have been given the opportunity to join the CloudMargin team. I strongly believe that the expansion into the US market comes at the right time for the firm. CloudMargin offers a cost-effective solution that can be implemented in days rather than the months I have seen with enterprise on-premise software solutions. With firms facing new requirements in an environment where they need to do more with less, all whilst reducing costs, CloudMargin has hit the nail right on the head”.

Lis joined from FIS where she was responsible for many of their new client installations. Previously, Lisbeth had senior roles at Citi and spent over 13 years at JP Morgan Chase.

Steve Husk, CEO of CloudMargin, commented: “We are honored to have Lee and Lisbeth join the CloudMargin team. Their combined knowledge and expertise in their respective fields will undoubtedly add to CloudMargin’s success. The opening of our New York office will also make life easier for our clients with operations in the US. It’s great to see the company on such an accelerated upward path”.
