Options, the leading managed service and IT infrastructure provider to the global capital markets industry, has today announced Jon Lambert as the firm’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Lambert, who previously served as CFO for both TIBCO and Wombat Financial Software, brings with him over 25 years of corporate finance and operational experience within the infrastructure technology and financial services sector.

From 2007, until its acquisition by NYSE Euronext in 2008, Jon served as CFO at Wombat Financial Software, a leading provider of low latency market data management solutions and infrastructure. Previous to that, Jon served as Senior Vice President and CFO at TIBCO for five years. Most recently, Lambert was CFO of HotChalk, an education technology company.

At Options, Jon will lead the firm’s strategic finance function and global financial operations, including overseeing Options’ regional finance teams in Europe, the U.S. and Asia.

Options CEO and Founder, Nigel Kneafsey, commented, “We are thrilled to have Jon join Options’ executive team. His knowledge and experience of corporate finance as it relates to financial services and IT infrastructure will be invaluable as we execute our strategic goals for 2016.

“Jon has a proven history of successfully scaling firms through periods of rapid expansion, and on a global scale,” Kneafsey continued. “In particular, he was CFO at TIBCO and Wombat during crucial stages of growth for both firms. As we build upon a hugely successful 2015, it is hard to think of a hire more suited to Options at this juncture.”

Mr Lambert commented, “Options finds itself as the established market leader within a sector trending rapidly towards outsourced technology and managed IT services. This growth trajectory, coupled with a hugely reputable and innovative suite of product solutions, makes for an exciting challenge. I am delighted to be working with Nigel and the wider global team at Options.”
