Feedzai opens in UK

Portuguese company Feedzai, a leader in the global Big Data real-time fraud detection business for the banking and e-commerce sectors, announced its further expansion in Europe and the opening of its new UK offices.

Feedzai’s rapid annual 300% growth sees them opening a new office at Oxford University Science Park in addition to existing offices in Silicon Valley, New York City and 3 offices in Portugal. From the new Oxford offices, Feedzai will oversee the expansion of its commercial and client facing operations across Europe and Asia providing round the clock capability to its clients.

Feedzai also announced the hire of Richard Harris as Head of International Operations, based in the UK. Harris will be responsible for the company's global expansion from the UK offices.

Before joining Feedzai, Harris has a strong track record of delivering growth across EMEA and Asia in Fraud and Payments organisations. Previous roles include stints at Experian where he was Commercial Vice-President of Global Fraud and Identity, Accertify where he was General Manager of EMEA and Asia and Visa where he was Head of E-Commerce for Central Europe Middle East and Africa. Harris has over 20 years of experience in e-commerce and payments, and was until recently a board member of the European Merchant Risk Council.
