Standard Life Investments hires Jonathan Kennedy as director of change and technology

Standard Life Investments, the global investment manager, has announced the appointment of Jonathan Kennedy as Director of Change & Technology following a comprehensive selection process.

 Jonathan joins from Virgin Money Group where he was Chief Operating Officer.

Commenting on the appointment, Colin Walklin, Group Chief Operating Officer, Standard Life, said:

“We are delighted that Jonathan has joined Standard Life Investments as Director of Change & Technology. This new position reflects the substantial global growth of the company over the last decade and will position us well for the future.

“Jonathan brings with him substantial industry experience. He is a highly respected IT and change executive in the financial services industry and combines strong technical skills with an exceptional track record in delivering complex, organisation-wide change programmes. His experience will be invaluable in supporting our growth aspirations.”

Jonathan will join Standard Life Investments on 29th March and will become a member of the Standard Life Investments Operating Committee.
