Velocimetrics, a provider of real-time business flow performance monitoring and analysis solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of industry specialist, Kevin Covington as an advisor to the company’s senior leadership team.
In joining Velocimetrics, Kevin will help guide the firm through its next stage of growth as it seeks to accelerate its investment into expanding its product offering in the trading, market data and payment processing arenas. In doing so, Kevin will assist the board in developing strategies to maximise the potential of Velocimetrics’ real-time business flow monitoring and analytics technology. Velocimetrics’ solutions are used by industry participants to independently track and continuously assess the real-time status of orders, trades and payments traversing complex, fast and dynamic business critical processes.
The relevance of Velocimetrics’ unique technology has increased significantly as the trading community continues to face regulatory pressures and banks operating payment platforms have become even more acutely aware of the competitive force the advent of new FinTech offerings could present. These banks are now looking at global real-time payment tracking solutions as a means to up the ante and significantly enhance client experience.
Well known for his extensive market expertise, Kevin has accumulated almost 30 years of financial services experience, including recently serving as ITRS’s CEO. Recognised as one of the industry’s most influential players, Kevin continues to work as a mentor, advisor and non-exec director for a portfolio of FinTech firms.
