Vantiv, Inc. (NYSE: VNTV), a leading provider of payment processing services and related technology solutions for merchants and financial institutions of all sizes, announced today that Mark Heimbouch's role has been expanded to include leadership of the company's technology and operational functions.
Heimbouch joined Vantiv in 2009 as chief financial officer, helping transform the business into one of the fastest growing technology companies in the United States(1). His appointment as Chief Operating and Financial Officer is effective immediately.
"Mark has been a strong leader at Vantiv, and his new duties expand naturally upon the work he's done as CFO," said Charles Drucker, chief executive officer. Prior to joining Vantiv, Heimbouch served in a number of senior leadership roles at both public and private companies, including as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Jackson Hewitt and as CFO at Trow Global, Teranex Systems and the DURO company. He has also held senior leadership positions at Western Union, First Data, Cendant and Deloitte.
"Vantiv has an exciting future ahead of it," said Heimbouch. "Our company is in the right place - at the right time - to seize on the rapidly expanding needs for payments technology. I look forward to continuing to shape that future and to ensure Vantiv continues to offer a leading technology workbench to its clients and partners."
