Ameritrade appoints Michael Bingle to board of directors
Ameritrade Holding Corporation (NASDAQ:AMTD) today announced the appointment of Michael Bingle, a managing director of Silver Lake Partners, to its board of directors.

Bingle has also been appointed to serve on the board's audit committee.
"Mike's extensive knowledge of the financial services industry combined with experience in private equity investing and large-scale mergers and acquisitions adds further depth to an already strong board at Ameritrade," said Joe Ricketts, chairman and founder.
Bingle joined Silver Lake Partners in 2000 and is a managing director. Prior to Silver Lake, he was a principal at Apollo Management, L.P., and previously worked as an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Bingle serves on the board of Gartner, Inc. and the Board of Visitors of the School of Engineering at Duke University. He holds a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
