Alacra expands management team

Alacra, the leader in client onboarding, reference data and business research solutions, has today announced three new additions to its management team, with the appointments of Alan Samuels, Kelvin Dickenson and Kevin Kollar.

Each brings valuable skills and experience and the appointments are a significant step in the company's continued global growth.

Alan Samuels is Vice President of Alacra Reference Data Solutions, responsible for Alacra's client, counterparty and legal entity reference data solutions. Alan spent over ten years leading data, research, tools and analytics businesses at Standard & Poor's and Fitch Ratings and has extensive experience leading product management, data operations and market development functions in the financial services industry. With an MBA from Wharton and an MA (Hons) in Law and Management from Cambridge University, Alan began his career as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen and Gemini Consulting, where he worked on numerous strategic consulting projects in the US, Europe and Africa.

Kevin Kollar is Vice President, Sales – America, and is leading the sales teams in North and South America, with responsibilities for new business and account management. His previous roles included sales leadership at the London Stock Exchange Group, overseeing its rapid expansion in the North American market. During his sixteen years at Thomson Reuters he was global managing director of sales, helping to drive and develop top performing sales teams. He has worked in New York, London and Boston, starting his career in financial services sales 23 years ago with Merrill Lynch.

Kelvin Dickenson is Vice President of Alacra Compliance Solutions and a member of the charter class of Certified Financial Crime Specialists (CFCS); he is also a member of the advisory board at the Association of Certified Financial Crimes Specialists. Kelvin is responsible for leading Alacra's customer-focused product roadmap for KYC/AML as well as vendor and third party due diligence, supporting compliance with AML, Sanctions, CTF and global anti-bribery and corruption regulatory requirements. Kelvin joins Alacra after nine years at Dun & Bradstreett, most recently as Managing Director of Compliance Solutions. Previously he was principal consultant for several D&B strategic customers, leading engagements in compliance, reference data, credit review and risk management. Before joining D&B, Kelvin spent 20 years in compliance, credit and loss prevention at major financial institutions, where his responsibilities included developing CIP policies, procedures, data sources and technology solutions to meet the requirements of the USA Patriot Act.
