Mint Wireless Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Anne Weatherston as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the Board of Mint effective immediately.
Ms Weatherston has 30 years of experience as a leader of business and technology change. This experience has been obtained across a range of large scale complex global organisations representing a variety of industries, predominantly within the financial services sector. She has operated at senior executive levels for most of her career and most recently she was the Chief Information Officer and a member of the Management Board of ANZ Banking Group Limited (ASX: ANZ), one of the world’s top 20 Banks. While at ANZ, Ms Weatherston was responsible for the provision of all technology services across the Bank including the definition and oversight of the Bank’s technology strategy to enable the super-regional ambition.
Prior to joining ANZ in 2010, Ms Weatherston was Group Chief Information Officer for the Bank of Ireland for four years. In that role she was responsible for the delivery of IT to all Bank of Ireland business units including the UK Post Office and the Bank’s international portfolio of investment companies. During her tenure she transformed the reputation of technology for service delivery, led the design of new technology platforms which included a new multi-currency real time payments platform.
Previously, Ms Weatherston has held various other senior leadership positions including Information Technology Director at Abbey / Santander (6th largest bank in the UK), Director of UK Business Integration at Gaz de France, as well as Director of Business Strategy, Development and IT for the Student Loans Company in the UK. She has an MBA from the Strathclyde Business School.
