Skrill Group hire's Skype's Neil Ward as chief product and marketing officer

This new position has been created in order to deliver insight-driven customer value via an aligned product and marketing strategy. Neil will be based at Skrill Group’s global headquarters in London.

Ward joins Skrill Group from Skype, where he held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Global Business Operations, overseeing the delivery of user experience and operational delivery in more than 140 countries. Prior to joining Skype, Neil was General Manager of Business to Business Services at BT Group plc and he previously worked in a range of senior sales, marketing and operations positions with organisations including Affinity Cards, Virgin Media, Havas Advertising and Adidas.
