Electra Information Systems names Scott Rhodes COO

Electra Information Systems (Electra), an innovative provider of proven software solutions for the asset management industry, has named Scott Rhodes Chief Operating Officer.

Bringing more than 30 years of experience in the technology market, as well as business and product development, Rhodes will focus on executing Electra's corporate strategy and objectives. Additionally, Rhodes will be overseeing all business operations for the organization in his new role. Based at Electra's New York headquarters, Rhodes will report directly to John Landry, CEO of Electra.

"With his broad multiline background, diverse operations experience and strong analytical insight, Scott will play an important role in helping us deliver measurable results to our clients," said Landry. Rhodes has been on Electra's board for more than 10 years and most recently served as Managing Director at Hedgeserv, where he was responsible for product development. Prior to Hedgeserv, he was President and Founder of Veotag, a provider of internet video services. Rhodes also founded Metamorphic Computing Co., a technology consulting company in 1994, where he served as President and has also previously held executive positions at Multex Systems, Inc., and Information Builders, Inc. He has significant international experience having conducted work in several European countries and Japan.

A graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Rhodes also did graduate studies in High Energy Physics at Rutgers University.
