PowerPlace hires Alison Davey and Craig Morgan

Leading e-commerce platform, PowerPlace has today announced two new business development appointments.

PowerPlace has welcomed back Alison Davey who will take up the position of Business Development Manager for Wales. Davey has re-joined the business after departing for a role at Towergate Underwriting as Regional Development Manager, early 2012. Prior to this, Davey had been with PowerPlace since September 2009.

Commenting on her appointment, Davey stated: "It's great to be returning to PowerPlace which is without doubt the leading online market place for brokers. PowerPlace is in a fantastically strong position and I intend to ensure that our brokers are offered the utmost support."

Also joining the Team is Craig Morgan who will take up the position of Regional Broker Account Manager for the South West and Essex regions. Prior to joining PowerPlace, Morgan was a New Business Account Executive for TRS Camerasure driving new business, managing schemes and supporting brokers. Morgan has a strong career within insurance which spans over five years.

"Joining PowerPlace gives me a platform to utilise my existing knowledge of commercial insurance and sales within a strong team, allowing me to build good relationships with brokers and insurers, encouraging PowerPlace usage and growth within the industry," added Morgan.

Speaking about the new appointments PowerPlace CEO, Nick Giddings commented: "I am delighted to welcome Alison and Craig into our business. 2013 has been a phenomenal year and I am pleased to have two strong business development professionals join us in readiness for an exciting 2014.

"PowerPlace has grown so much over the last 12 months and I am sure our new recruits will add a lot of value as we continue to reinforce our commitment to driving an SME e-traded market for the broker community."
