Bill has IT expertise and a track record of leading major change in large organisations. Bill was previously senior vice president of HP Enterprise Services and served as a corporate officer and executive vice president of EDS. He is currently an independent non-executive director of XChanging plc, GFI Software SA and Balfour Beatty plc.

Richard Pym, Chair of Board commented "I am delighted that Bill is joining the Board. The Co-operative Bank has a poor track record of successful IT investment and Bill's experience from working in major global IT businesses will be of enormous help to the Board in supervising our IT investment programme".
