Based in New York, Mr. Kehoe will report to Denis Orrock, CEO Capital Markets, and will work directly with Liz Bevan, CEO North America, to expand the company's footprint in the region.

"The U.S., while a developed market for financial technology solutions, represents an emerging growth opportunity for GBST," said Ms. Bevan. "Since entering this market six months ago, we have seen strong interest from U.S. financial institutions wanting to improve and streamline their clearing and settlement processes in the middle and back office. John has developed an extensive network of contacts and product knowledge for customer markets including custodians, broker dealers, investment managers, trust banks and hedge funds. We look forward to leveraging his experience and relationships to grow our business in the U.S., Canada and across the Americas."

In April 2013, GBST secured Raymond James Equity Capital Markets as its first client in the U.S. for Syn~, GBST's global post-trade transaction and settlement processing system. Raymond James Equity Capital Markets is implementing Syn~ to replace existing legacy systems, manual processes and introduce rules-driven pre-settlement processing including integrated, real-time institutional commission management facilities.

While at XSP, which was acquired by SunGard in December 2012, he also managed partnerships with industry leading software organizations as well as data vendors and depositories. Mr. Kehoe is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is involved in global industry initiatives covering all aspects of the financial sector. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
