Vantiv (NYSE: VNTV), a leading provider of payment processing services and related technology solutions for merchants and financial institutions of all sizes, announced today that former PayPal and Visa executive Daniela Mielke will join the company as Chief Strategy Officer.
Mielke will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for leading the development and oversight of company strategy in support of Vantiv's growth objectives and to help drive product innovation, profitability, revenue and scale throughout the organization.

"She is an accomplished and practical payments professional who has built successful teams and relationships throughout her career, and we look forward to her doing the same at Vantiv."
Most recently, Mielke served as Vice President of Global Strategy at PayPal where she was responsible for developing strategies for the company's future. This included overseeing market intelligence and corporate, regional and product strategy for PayPal, and leading strategic planning discussions for eBay's companywide mobile strategy, ecosystem strategy, company-level competitive responses and shared services.

Earlier in her career, Mielke served as Senior Vice President of Global Strategy at Visa where she led the development of strategic and market intelligence projects, including the company's long-term positioning, business development, corporate transformation and performance enhancement. She has also held various finance, sales, and marketing positions with McKinsey & Co. and Nestlé, S.A.
