Viewpointe®, a leading managed service and payments provider to regulated industries, today announced the promotion of Sean Laurell to senior vice president, shared services, responsible for Viewpointe systems, technology, professional services and application development, as well as project delivery.
Laurell will report to Viewpointe president Timothy Coff.
Laurell, who joined Viewpointe in 2012 as vice president of professional services and implementation, has more than 20 years of information technology experience, including enterprise information management responsibilities. He has worked with customers from multiple industries including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare and the public sector across North America and Europe.
"In the last year, Sean has demonstrated his commitment and value to Viewpointe and our customers and we look forward to more great work from him," said Coff. "This role has increasing importance as we bring on new customers and add more products and services."
Prior to joining Viewpointe, Laurell held multiple positions at Accenture, including digital data and analytics ECM lead for state and local government in North America, lead solution architect for the EMC Documentum alliance, global content migration expert network lead and document imaging expert network lead. Laurell also served as the vice president of technical operations at The CSC Group, where he lead project delivery, product development, customer support, pre-sales support and training.
