Until recently Himanshu was the Chief Financial Officer for Logica plc where he led the sale process that resulted in the company being acquired by CGI of Canada for £1.8bn. Himanshu brings significant financial experience of working in telecommunications, IT and services environments globally. Prior to Logica, Himanshu worked at BT Group for more than nine years in a number of divisional finance director roles including chief financial officer of BT Global Services, BT Design, BT Operate and BT Wholesale. His early career included finance and systems roles at Worldcom International, UUNET and MFS Limited.

Himanshu joins at a time when Misys is poised for further growth. Less than nine months after its acquisition by Vista Equity Partners and merger with Turaz, Misys has already brought to market new innovative solutions and has been able to help its customers to respond quickly to market and regulatory changes, maintaining the highest standards of quality in its people and products.

Bret Bolin, CEO of Misys, states, "I am delighted that Himanshu is joining Misys. He brings outstanding financial and operational experience from his time at Logica and BT which will help us achieve our goals in growing the business and continuing to improve our customers' experience."

Himanshu Raja adds, "It is great to be joining Misys at such an exciting period of growth in the company's history. I have been impressed with the way the management team has transformed itself into the leading independent provider of financial services software in such a short space of time. I look forward to building the business further and continuing to capitalise on the company's proven track record."
