AIM Software, the leading provider of data management applications for the financial community managing and servicing assets, announced today that Joe Kollross has been appointed to lead the Professional Services activities in the UK and Ireland.

Kollross will work closely with the global sales team to manage existing clients, and support business development initiatives in the local region. Based in London, Kollross will report to Michael Walford-Grant, Country Manager UK / Ireland.

"We are delighted to welcome Joe as a new member of our team," said Josef Sommeregger, member of the board, Global Head of Sales, at AIM Software. "With his background in enterprise data management and prior first-hand experience with various data vendors, Joe brings valuable insight into our chosen markets. He joins AIM Software at a time when regulations, business efficiency and short-term returns are the driving forces, whilst the number of independent players in this space is reducing drastically. His extensive experience and personal drive will significantly strengthen our team and enhance the service we offer."

Joe began his career at Golden Source as a software engineer where he developed pricing and real-time market data integration solutions. He continued as a presales consultant, involved in early discussions with potential customers, getting deep into the understanding of their needs in areas such as reference data, pricing and corporate actions, and leveraging his know-how to build decisive Proof-Of-Concepts (PoC).

Michael Walford-Grant, Country Manager for UK / Ireland, says: "Because of the positive reaction of the market to the launch of our new office in London at the end of last year, Joe joins us at an ideal time to support our growing activities in the UK and Ireland. Joe's strong skills and expertise will help us deliver solutions to our clients, based on the company's business applications for portfolio pricing, corporate actions and reference data management."
