Reval, a leading global Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider of comprehensive and integrated Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) solutions, announced today that Frank Irizarry has joined the company as Managing Director for the Americas.
Irizarry, who brings over 31 years of experience selling enterprise solutions to his clients, is the latest hire to support Reval's expansive global client base.
"As treasuries continue their mission of providing value to the business amid a world of financial risk, volatility and uncertainty, they are looking for providers whom they can partner with to help them strategically navigate their treasury challenges," says Reval EVP of Sales and Marketing Jay McGlynn. "Frank's leadership qualities and deep experience will help guide our clients and the market in this much-needed strategic approach to the corporate treasury mission."
Irizarry spent the past 13 years in enterprise sales at Oracle. Having worked through the market's transformation from sales automation technology to comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology, he understands how technology can have a transformative effect on the entire enterprise through the optimization of a particular function such as treasury.
"It is not often that a professional has the opportunity to join a company whose industry is looking for guidance in how to apply technology that will help transform the way it needs to work," Irizarry says. "Combine this with a company whose value at its core is its people, who are innovators, problem solvers, and financial engineers, and it is a thrilling prospect." Irizarry's appointment underscores Reval's commitment to the treasury community through ongoing investment in innovative treasury and risk management solutions and specialized, top-tier talent.
In addition to his leadership in enterprise sales at Oracle, Irizarry was Regional Vice President of Financial Services Eastern Region at Siebel Corporation and Regional Vice President Sales of the East Region and Sales Director for Financial Services at Wang Software. Prior to these positions, Irizarry was Global Account manager for two of Wang Laboratories largest customers, W.R. Grace and Equitable Life Insurrance. He holds a BS in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
