Wall Street Network Solutions names Bill Walsh chief strategy officer

Wall Street Network Solutions (WSNS), a leading provider of high performance network solutions to the global financial community, has added Bill Walsh as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Head of Corporate Operations.

"Bill is one of the most talented and experienced executives in the financial technology and network services arena", said Michael Fritzlo, CEO of WSNS. "He has been a key leader in several successful high-growth companies and I am thrilled that he has joined our team", added Fritzlo.

Mr. Walsh has held leadership positions in several network services and financial technology companies during his twenty four year career. Over the last decade, he assisted One Equity Partners, the private equity arm of JPMorgan Chase, in a number of portfolio companies that were undergoing rapid change. These included Open Range Communications, where he managed corporate operations, Telwares, where he served as President and COO, and Telerate, where he served as EVP of Marketing and Corporate Operations. Prior to that, he was Managing Director, Marketing and Corporate Operations of IXnet, leading key functions of the company from startup until its $3.8 billion sale to Global Crossing in 2000. He then led Global Crossing's worldwide marketing efforts.
