Claus joins Capco with extensive financial services experience, having worked in the domain for over 15 years. With a strong focus on capital markets and core banking, he has held senior IT and programme management roles at many major financial services organisations.

Most recently he worked for a global consulting firm as Delivery Centre Lead in Bratislava, Prague and Bucharest. In his new role, Claus assumes responsibility for Capco's near-shore offering and local delivery team, based in Bratislava.

Claus comments: "With the ongoing high volume of changes in the financial services market, many organisations continue to focus on the most cost and resource efficient way to deliver increasingly complex projects. With its proximity to Vienna and a very strong talent-pool, Bratislava presents Capco with an ideal base to deliver complex IT engagements to a pan European client base. Bratislava's physical and linguistic proximity to Western Europe combined with ready access to deep industry expertise will position us to provide leading consultancy services to our client base, while reducing our client's costs with minimal risk.

Our near-shore offering integrates smoothly with Capco's existing off-shore services delivered from Bangalore. Capco has already established a strong reputation with many of the world's leading financial services institutions and I'm keen to continue building on this."

Farzine Fazel, Partner at Capco said: "The opening of this new office reflects the continued execution of our European growth strategy. Our near-shore operations offer even greater delivery capability and flexibility to our growing client base, and complement our existing talent and teams around the world. This move enables us to boost our systems integration and application development skill set, skills that are increasingly important given the levels of complexity inherent in the financial services landscape. Claus brings with him an impressive track record and experience of near-shore delivery and we are confident in his ability to drive the local team and business forward."
