Last Tuesday 17 April, the founder of Hanse Orga AG, Hans Herbert Lindemann, was appointed the new chair of the Board of Directors. He takes over from Fritz Horst Melsheimer, CEO of the Hanse Merkur Insurance Group and Praeses of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.

At the beginning of 2012, Hans Herbert Lindemann stepped down from the position as Chief Executive of the company and passed on all business dealings to his successor and son Sven Lindemann. Due to Mr Lindemann's moving to the Board of Directors, the Hanse Orga AG will continue to benefit from his vast experience and expertise.

Hans Herbert Lindemann says about his new role and about Mr Melsheimer's leaving: „I am glad to be able to remain part of the greater whole and to support the strong innovational strength and the high identification of our staff with the company. They form our most important success factors, which also our customers highly appreciate. Moreover, I am grateful that Hanse Orga AG found in Mr Melsheimer a most committed chair of the Board of Directors. He joined the Board during its founding in July 2001. Together with Franz Bökeler, former finance director of E.ON Hanse, and my daughter Kerstin Benkendorf Mr Melsheimer has, despite his many other obligations, significantly supported the sustainable development of our company throughout the years."

Sven Lindemann and Stephan Benkendorf, members of the Hanse Orga Executive Board, thank Mr Melsheimer for his commitment and for the fruitful cooperation: "Mr Melsheimer has enriched our company with his economic know-how. He specifically encouraged the internationalisation of Hanse Orga and always continued to support these efforts. We sincerely thank him for his contribution."
