Focused on establishing payment processing relationships with financial institutions and merchants in the LAC, Mr. Garcia brings more than a decade of international payments industry experience and leadership to EPX. He has held senior-level, LAC-focused business development, product strategy, sales, operations, and project leadership positions with Accertify (an American Express Company), Visa, and TowerGroup, and his cross-cultural, multi-disciplined skills have led to successful business partnerships across the region. As another testament to his leadership skills, Mr. Garcia served as a non-commissioned medical officer in the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps.

Understanding the requirements, concerns, and pain points of the LAC market, Mr. Garcia believes EPX payment processing solutions provide much-needed alternatives to the region. "I am excited to be joining the EPX management team and to be bringing a first-class, secure, end-to-end payment processing offering to the Latin America & Caribbean region," said Garcia. "I look forward to answering the call for a cost-effective, single-vendor solution that offers top of the line front-end technology, gateway technology, end-to-end processing, tokenization, chargeback services, extensive reporting capabilities, and fraud prevention for the LAC market."

EPX Chief Executive Officer Ray Moyer welcomes the addition of Garcia to the EPX team and values his expertise. "Providing a senior-level, experienced, and knowledgeable liaison to our clients and prospects in the Latin American and Caribbean region demonstrates our commitment to the LAC region," said Moyer.
"We believe this market has been underserved," Moyer continued. "EPX's payment processing platform has extensive feature functionality not previously afforded to financial institutions and merchants in this market, and EPX clearly will be recognized as the technology leader."

Moyer also stated that EPX technology must be combined withh superior, competent individuals committed to serving EPX's clients and the industry. "We must recruit the very best individuals for our organization, and Eldred epitomizes that profile," Moyer said. "I have no doubt that he will lead our efforts in the Latin America and the Caribbean region by setting a standard of excellence valued by our relationships."
