Fully customizable and mobile digital gift cards present revenue growth opportunities and competitive differentiators to retailers. To accelerate its growth and provide market insight, CashStar hired Arun Glendinning to serve as Director of Business Development in the U.K.

"Over the past few years, we have helped more than 250 major North American brands improve their Gift Card programs and grow revenue through the introduction of customizable eGifting," said David Stone, CEO of CashStar. "We have hired some of the top talent in the U.K. prepaid industry to help retailers grow their incentives and gift card programs. We will also work to support other brands expanding their global operations."

To support the expansion, Arun Glendinning has joined the company to serve as Director of Business Development in the U.K. Prior to joining CashStar, Glendinning was General Manager of B&Q's Business Services division, where he led the development of the Retail and B2B gift card business as well as managed major loyalty initiatives.

eGift Cards are proven to help retailers grow sales while building loyalty with consumers. With CashStar, retailers can offer interactive eGift features to consumers, such as custom messages, videos and photos. Additionally, CashStar's platform enables consumers to buy eGifts in advance, allowing for greater sales and convenience. With CashStar's new interface, eGift Cards unwrap right in front of a consumer through an animated display upon delivery or can be presented physically as an attractive printed foldable gift.

"The innovative technology CashStar is bringing to the U.K. will be a game changer in a prepaid industry which has shown significant growth over the last five years," said Glendinning. "I look forward to helping U.K. and U.S. retailers realize the potential that digital gifting brings to both retail and B2B channels."
