Ixaris, an innovator in global electronic payments, today announces the appointment of Andrea McGeachin as Commercial Director to support the next phase of the company's global growth.
Reporting to Alex Mifsud, CEO of Ixaris, Andrea fulfils a new role for the company.
In her new role, Andrea is responsible for managing the Ixaris sales team and exploiting the opportunity to take the company's award-winning payments platform, Ixaris Opn, into new industries and geographies. Ixaris Opn remains the only payment platform to offer payment products that can incorporate virtual and plastic cards from both the Visa and MasterCard card schemes, as well as inbound and outbound global bank transfers through SWIFT and local ACH networks. Maintaining and growing revenues from Ixaris' virtual prepaid card solution, EntroPay, is also a priority for Andrea.

With more than 20 years of business development experience, Andrea was previously Commercial Director at Ukash, the global e-money voucher company. Responsible for leading the direct and indirect sales teams, Andrea's achievements included helping to grow the company's international footprint from 11 to 55 countries and increasing revenue from £2 million to over £15 million in four years. Prior to that, Andrea was Sales and Operations Director at Pixology where she was responsible for building commercial relationships with Tesco, Costco and Walmart.
