DealHub (Option Computers Ltd), the leading global provider of financial markets software, has further strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Nick de Smith as Head of Development and Mark Marston as Business Manager, Interbank & Prime Brokerage Services.

de Smith has deep expertise in financial technology and real-time systems development. In his previous role as Head of IT at RAB Capital, he oversaw a rapid build-out of low-latency trading operations during a period of exceptional growth. Prior experience includes a senior role in the architecture and development of NYSE Euronext's CONNECT derivatives trading platform.

Peter Kriskinans, DealHub CEO, said "Nick's appointment comes at a critical point for DealHub; as we expand our services and our customer base, we are focussed on building out the DealHub product range as a unified platform for growth and innovation. To deliver on our vision, we need development leadership of the highest calibre - I'm confident that Nick's wealth of experience at the forefront of trading technology will ensure our continued reputation for innovation, reliability and high performance"

Marston was previously Technical Sales Team Leader at Thomson Reuters, with a focus on Prime Brokerage and API services. Commenting on his hire, DealHub COO Chris Leaver, said "Mark brings many years of experience and a fresh perspective to our core interbank business - he'll be working with our clients to build low latency, high performance trading architectures, using DealHub's unique range of flexible components that span the complete trading workflow."
