MarketPrizm, a leading provider of market data and trading infrastructure services today announced two key hires for its European team with the appointment of Megan Hession as Client Director and Ralph Achkar as Director, Product.
Hession has over 13 years' experience in the financial services industry with a focus on trading floor technologies. Most recently she was with Force10 Network with responsibility for high frequency trading sales, and prior to that ran commodity software sales at Allegro Development. She started her career in the US with Xerox and Verizon, and was educated at the University of Rochester, NYU Stern School of Business and London School of Economics.
Achkar will focus on business growth including market segment expansion, new product opportunities, and strategic partnerships. He has over 15 years' experience in the financial services and telecommunications industry, having worked extensively on business development opportunities with financial institutions. He was recently co-head of sales at Turquoise and, prior to that, spent five years with Citigroup covering financial institutions across Europe and the Middle East. He started his career with Motorola in the US. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
