OTC Global Holdings LP (OTCGH), the leading independent interdealer broker in over-the-counter commodities, today announced the addition of Suresh Dongre as the company's chief information officer.
In this role, Dongre will serve in a traditional chief information officer capacity and as the company's chief technology officer. He brings to OTCGH more than 20 years of experience designing and developing trading and risk management systems.
"Suresh's extensive understanding of the underlying technology of the commodities trading and broking industries will serve us well as we continue to expand our portfolio of brokerages and enhance our EOXLive broking/trading platform," said Javier Loya, chairman and chief executive officer of OTCGH.
Prior to joining OTCGH, Dongre served as chief information officer of Saracen Energy Advisors in Houston. Prior to that, he worked as the managing director of Citadel Investment Group and as an associate director of UBS in Chicago. A graduate of the University of Mysore in India, Dongre received his M.S. in computer engineering from Iowa State University.
"I am excited to join a fast growing company like OTCGH," said Dongre. "In this new age of extensive regulatory oversights, the need for superior trading/broking systems has become even more important. I look forward to leveraging my experience in ensuring that our systems meet these requirements while at the same time continuing to evolve with needs of our brokers and trading clients."
