BPC names Abdulhameed Rajab business development manager, Middle East

BPC Banking Technologies, the leading provider of Open System e-payment solutions for the global financial industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Abdulhameed Rajab as Business Development Manager, Middle East.

He will be responsible for driving the company's business in Saudi Arabia, which is largest target market in the Middle East in terms of size of banks and spend on IT, as well as other countries in the Middle East.

Abdulhameed has over 24 years experience in the banking and cards industries including consultancy and IT in the Middle East. He joins BPC from ACI Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ:ACIW) where he was Business Manager, Middle East for 11 years. At ACI he provided increasing customer productivity and improved relationships, introducing local staff to manage and serve existing customers.

Prior to this he worked for American Express Bank (NYSE:AXP) for 12 years as Territory Manager for the Middle East promoting both cards and merchants and successfully managed to increase the number of card members. He holds an MBA from the University of Stratchlyde, Scotland.
