Touchpoint has announced the appointment of Adrian Lewis, former NSW State Manager of CGU Insurance, to the role of Business Process Management (BPM) Practice Manager.

This appointment marks a significant step in the development of Touchpoint's BPM capabilities, with Adrian's experience and strength in the insurance sector making him the ideal driver of Touchpoint's BPM division

Adrian has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry particularly in Personal Insurance and Workers Compensation. He has extensive re-engineering and process improvement experience across Claims and Policy both within corporate and consulting environments. His most recent role as NSW State Manager for CGU saw him responsible for the reengineering of the NSW Workers Compensation Insurance Business Unit. Adrian also worked with major insurers Allianz and MMI Ltd.

"The insurance sector faces a number of key challenges: customer and regulatory expectations, competition from global and niche players, shareholder expectations and more importantly the role of new technologies," Adrian says. "The recent natural disasters have not left a good community feeling about insurers; however it is a resilient industry and as an essential part of society, is already embracing new opportunities to improve across all areas. I am excited to be part of Touchpoint and look forward to leading the development of integrated solutions and improvements across these areas."

As BPM Practice Manager, Adrian will focus on improving Policy Administration and Processing and Claims Administration and Processing covering Personal Insurance and Bodily Injury classes.

"In the current business environment, measurable results are more important than ever. Adrian's extensive experience in BPM within the insurance industry and his accomplishments in increasing profitability, performance and sustainable outcomes, makes him an invaluable asset and a perfect match for Touchpoint " - Peter Overton, Managing Director, Touchpoint
