Harold Finders named CEO of Sungard Financial Systems

SunGard, one of the world's leading software and technology services companies, announced today that its Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Harold Finders as chief executive officer of SunGard Financial Systems, SunGard's largest business.

Mr. Finders was appointed chief executive officer of SunGard Financial Systems in late-November 2010 and was division chief executive officer since April 2007.
Mr. Finders joined SunGard in 1996 with the acquisition of NCS Financial Systems and has held various senior management positions throughout the company.

Previously, he held senior positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and led the divestment of its private banking software business, subsequently taking the role of managing director and then selling the business to NCS in 1994. Mr. Finders holds an MBA-equivalent from the University of Lausanne.
