FT Interactive Data appoints Sandra Yonge business development manager, Ireland

FT Interactive Data, the major operating subsidiary of Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC) and a leading supplier of financial information and analytical software to global markets, has appointed Sandra Younge as business development manager for Ireland.

Formerly international business manager at investment and fund data provider MoneyMate in Ireland, Sandra Younge will be based at Interactive Data's Dublin office where the company already has over 100 staff involved in data collection and support functions.

Interactive Data recognises the importance of Ireland's fast-growing share of the European investment funds market and is committed to providing the highest quality of services to the Dublin financial community.

Sandra Younge joins Interactive Data at a time when the sales teams from across its businesses are working together to offer customers a wide range of high quality, enterprise-wide services – from end-of-day, through intra-day, to real-time.

Interactive Data is further developing its business in Europe and has been expanding its geographic reach to help provide an even better service to its customers. In recent months new sales and operational staff have been added to its growing number of offices throughout western Europe. As well as the 100+ people in Dublin – and its European headquarters in London – Interactive Data has established offices in Luxembourg, Paris, Geneva and Jersey. More than 500 people now work for Interactive Data in Europe.
