The formation of Compliance Risk Management, Inc. (CRMI), a New York-based consultancy offering 'custom tailored' cost effective compliance solutions to investment banks, broker/dealers, and banking groups was announced today by Chris Franke, CRMI's founder and Chief Executive.

Mr. Franke was Managing Director and Head of Compliance (Americas) for JP Morgan's Investment Bank and Private Bank. His partners include attorneys, compliance and communications professionals who were senior managers at Merrill Lynch, Oppenheimer, JP Morgan and Burson-Marsteller Public Relations.

This enterprise was formed because in this highly regulated climate we felt something was missing in the client/advisor dynamic," Mr. Franke said.

"We differ from our larger competitors in our ability to put over 30 years of securities industry experience to work for our clients at affordable rates," he explained.

CRMI is also partnered with:

* John Mittler, founder of JM Capital Market Services, a leader in all aspects of placing executives with legal and non-legal compliance backgrounds.
* Walter Kapuscinski, founder of Kapco Group Inc., a leader in broker/dealer compliance outsourcing for small and medium-sized financial services enterprises with small firm compliance support at affordable rates.
* Victor Emmanuel, founder of VJE Consultants, a team of public relations executives focused on crisis management, financial relations and government relations; and a former SVP with Burson-Marsteller Public Relations.
