They have joined to enhance the Banking Architecture management team, and CP's positioning as thought leaders in trading, marketing and risk management.

Bentinck brings 14 years experience working with Accenture, The Berkeley Partnership and Stentra; and his roles have included CTO of NASDAQ LIFFE Markets, Professional Services Delivery Director of Univits, and a member of the management team at Stentra.

Ronan's 18 years have included providing front office and risk management software to both buy and sell side clients, and seven years of software consultancy. Most recently, he was Head of Software at CWB, and a member of the management team at Stentra.

Bentinck stated: "City Practitioners have a clear strategy for the market and strong track record in providing Tier One banks with their hands on capabilities in market leading products. This is a significant growth year for the organisation as they further enhance the bridge they provide from strong architecture and advisory work through to implementation and ongoing application management, and I saw this as an opportunity to bring my own experience and be part of the success."

Ronan added: "CP are able to provide a balance between "change the bank" and "run the bank" activities and priorities, with an impressive level of rigour and attention to detail at every stage. I was also impressed with the emphasis on people, and joint commitment to clients and staff – ensuring long term relationships are built both within the company and throughout its wider community."
