Pekka Viljakainen, head of Tieto International, has decided to leave Tieto, and Willem Hendrickx has been appointed head of Tieto International. Hendrickx will also continue in his current role as head of Telecom & Media.

His passion for IT has been recognized not only in the company but outside as well, and he has been a key person in building Tieto's partner network and alliance collaboration. I wish him the best of luck in his new pursuits outside Tieto," says Hannu Syrjälä, President and CEO.

To strengthen the execution of Tieto's growth strategy, Kavilesh Gupta, head of Customer & Market Operations (CMO), has been appointed head of Strategy and Corporate Development.

Other Leadership Team members continue in their current roles.
