"Harold brings more than 30 years of industry expertise to the president role. Having Harold focusing on running the day-to-day operations at Gravitas will allow me to focus on growing the Gravitas franchise," Punater said. "I've known Harold for a long time, both from his work here at Gravitas and his decades spent at some of the industry's most well-known names."

Kahn, 57, has been a senior adviser at Gravitas since 2007, participating in a number of strategic and operational initiatives, including the expansion of the company's consulting offerings and strengthening even further the depth of the firm's professional capabilities and resources.

Before joining Gravitas, Kahn was Chief Operating Officer at DB Zwirn and Pequot Capital and, prior to that, as Chief Financial Officer for Zurich Scudder Investments. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he spent over 20 years and held a number of senior partner responsibilities in New York and Tokyo. Kahn graduated from Stanford University with a degree in economics.

"I have come to know the quality and depth of the Gravitas team over the past few years, and I am now most pleased and excited to take on this fully committed role. There are a number of significant market opportunities that Gravitas has identified and is actively pursuing, and I look forward to working with Jayesh and the other members of the senior team as we continue to provide the most relevant and highest quality scope of services to our clients."
