Dow Jones Newswires, the world's leading independent provider of real-time business and financial news, has appointed Raj Khanna as vendor relations manager for its UK accounts.
Khanna, (37), returns to Dow Jones Newswires after a three-year break during which he worked for other information providers to the financial services industry. This included two years - from early 2002 to mid 2004 - when he managed vendor relations and direct sales for FutureSource, with responsibility for OsterDowJones, the then joint venture of Oster Communications LLC and Dow Jones Newswires, which provided real-time commodities news.
Khanna will manage the commercial relationships with UK market data vendors, including those previously handled by Olivier Roguez, who is now focusing on French, Spanish and Middle East-based vendors. Khanna reports to Elisabeth Delbès, head of vendor relations for Dow Jones Newswires, EMEA.
